Summer 2009 Program
Hello there Sailors!
Summer is fast approaching, and you know what that means- another fun year at the Erieau Yacht Club!
We have tons of fun and excitement planned for this summer, and we are hoping that you can all be a part of it again.
As always, we have an excellent staff with some old faces and some new ones too! Returning from last year is Ali Rankin-Nash as the Swimming and Camp head, and Alex Badder as the head of Sailing. Our staff has a variety of teaching backgrounds, which will make sailing fun and interesting for all!
This summer we are really making an emphasis on class sizes to make the EYC a safe and fun place for all, so early registration is very important. However, unfortunately we will not be offering a bussing service, but as always everyone is welcome!
Shirts will go on sale on registration Saturday, which is Saturday June 27 from 12-2. However if you register by mail Before June 10, you will receive a free shirt for every camper!
Please fill in your email address, as the EYC is trying to be more environmentally friendly and is hoping to go paperless for next year.

Full Day swim and Sail
(In order to get a sailing level you must be there for at least 3 weeks)
A full day camp experience is offered for children aged 6-14. The emphasis is on Sailing with both theory and on water components; children will also participate in Swimming, kayaking, Arts and Crafts and team building activities.
The full day camp runs daily from 9-3:30, Monday through Friday.

If you are registering more than one child (they must be siblings) then you are eligible to pay $10 less on every child after you pay full price for your first child for full day camp only.
Swim only
Swimming only will also be available for those interested. It consists of a daily 30 minute lesson. Please circle that option on the bottom of the form attached.

Advance Camp (levels 4 and 5)
A full day Sail only camp will be available for those in levels 4 or 5. This intensive, high skills camp will focus on racing skills and strategies, boat maintenance and advanced theory. Participants will compete in regattas against other yacht clubs throughout the summer. Prices are the same as the Full day swim and sail camp.
