Thank you for your interest in the Erieau Yacht Club. We were organized in 1935 to promote and encourage interests in sailing, to teach and promote the principles of seamanship and racing, to encourage the traditions of yachting, to encourage and teach young people in sailing and swimming, to provide and maintain a suitable clubhouse and facilities for the use and recreation of its members. While prospective members do not have to have a boat, or even be thinking about buying a boat, our organization is focused on the appreciation and enjoyment of Rondeau Bay and Lake Erie, considered by many as one of the best places on Planet Earth to enjoy boating. Many new members take advantage of both our learn to sail program as well as our fleet of teaching boats available to members after sailing school hours. We also have a very active and successful youth sailing program for young children all the way up to a competitive racing program. We enjoy a vibrant Junior Yacht Club with world-class sailing instructors and social events for JYC members. Membership Categories Family- Member, spouse, children under 19 in school
